A story of a young girl named Lina Inverse who is a powerful magician and his "so-called sidekick" Gourry Gabriev (who has a crush on Lina), who is also a great swordsman and owner of the powerful Sword Of Light. Together with thier friends Zelgadis, Ameria, Shilfiel, Martina, Zeross, Filia & Naga The Serpent. They fight demons, evil sorcerer and other evil beings from other dimensions. But for Lina, that's only childs play. For Lina and Gourry food is always a source of thier skillful strenght.
